Amidst growing and adventuring through a constant state of change, I find a patient and tranquil language in the ceramic process. Inspired by endless possibilities, organic materials, instincts and chemical reactions my work seeks to exaggerate the biological simplicities we encounter as humans. Objects that transport you to a special place in the mountains or looking out at the ocean from the sand.
My work references the interdependent relationship humans have with our earth, and all other species. Focusing on human experiences, daily rituals and the spontaneity of creation, my style attempts to combine subjective perceptions of our pristine earth, with mindfulness, awareness of the body and creative intention imbedded in ones self & the clay.
