Studio Way of Life

Home Studio in Newnan, GA

As a traveling artist I have made many places into a studio. Be it an old shed, my dads garage, the driveway in the sun, under the stars by a campfire or on the beach nestled in the sand. Being creative and living a creative way of life leads me to boundless freedom and inspiring views keep my hands moving.

While molding clay earth, using natural materials and Eco-friendly products is a must. I work on continually reducing my carbon footprint, working with environmentally conscious packing materials, leaving plastic as far away from the studio as possible and hopefully inspiring others to be mindful of the same & use more ceramic!

My love for clay began in 2012 when I was first introduced to the medium. I became obsessed with making ceramic vessels and sculpting smooth earth. The properties and elemental make up of clay was mesmerizing and raw earth turning into functional ceramic vessels blew my mind … every stage of the process drew me in.

I choose to continue creating, traveling & experiencing life to the fullest which organically seeps into my work. My style draws inspiration from the natural world, nature… ya know, the good stuff. The fists full of cool sand on a hot beach day, overarching trees making us feel safe and small, sharing life talks on calm cold mornings with your hands wrapped around a warm comfy mug, the simple moments that add up to the best memories is where I find peace to work from and hope to make enjoying those moments a touch more intentional.
