2 HOUR TIME BLOCK FOR ALL CLASS SESSIONS.

• Personalized pottery wheel throwing sessions.

• Everyone will receive instruction depending on their specific skill level and learn the art of Throwing Ceramics.

• Full introduction to working with clay earth as a medium and demonstrated ceramic techniques with information about glazing & firing processes.

THE PROCESS:

- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. I’ll have aprons here for you.

- A complete in person demonstration + curated instruction lead by me, Valerie Costanza, teaching you how to correctly create a ceramic vessel on the potter’s wheel.

- Create up to three pieces on or off the wheel, time depending. Signature: Choose letter stamps, personal names, dates, etc. to sign your pieces.

- You will have the ability to choose which glazes you believe will suit your masterpieces. I will have a selection of glazes to look at, touch & feel to help make your final decisions.

- Once the pieces have achieved full dryness, and have gone through their first firing, I will glaze your works and prep them for their final firing. All vessels will be glazed here in the studio in an electric kiln to cone 6 (no exceptions). * If you would like to come back to glaze your own pieces, an additional glaze pass can be purchased the day of your session or later time, price is $30.00 per person & a new date scheduled for you to complete the next part of the process here in the studio.

- Notification of finished work will be sent directly to your email. Ceramics made will be available for pickup at the studio, approximately 4 weeks after the workshop. Or choose to have your pieces shipped.

• **** Shipping will be automatically included but, if you’re a ‘local’ you can change that and select the: Local Pick-Up option, in the check out stage to retrieve your pieces. Info, emails & address will be indicated at check out, so please make sure to enter all of your personal information correctly ;)
